HoldTHISandTHAT is operated by KBDev Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how it is handled, and the choices available to you when you use HoldTHISandTHAT (the “Service”).
Information we collect
We collect information you provide to create and use your account, including your email address, username, account preferences, and subscription status. Passwords are not stored in plain text; we store a secure password hash.
We also store the content you choose to put into HoldTHISandTHAT, which may include tasks, notes, reminders, folder information, history, attachments, web clippings, and voice or text captures. When you use voice capture, audio and/or transcribed text may be processed in order to provide the feature.
We may also collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as session information, browser/device details, IP address, timestamps, error logs, and notification subscription information.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve HoldTHISandTHAT.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Process captures, organize content, provide search, reminders, and other requested features.
- Process subscription payments and maintain billing status.
- Send account, security, trial, billing, onboarding, and service-related communications.
- Prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the Service and its users.
AI processing
Some HoldTHISandTHAT features use artificial intelligence to interpret, transcribe, classify, organize, or otherwise process content you submit. Content needed for those features may be sent to third-party AI service providers solely to provide the requested functionality. HoldTHISandTHAT does not use AI processing as a substitute for your own judgment about important decisions.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the Service, including hosting and infrastructure providers, cloud storage providers, payment processors, email providers, and AI service providers. These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to perform their services. Payment card information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored directly by HoldTHISandTHAT.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers as described above; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, subject to applicable law.
Email communications
We may send transactional or relationship emails related to your account, trial, security, billing, or use of the Service. If you separately choose to receive marketing or product-update emails, those messages will include a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary account or service communications.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account and user content while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Service. You may delete your account using the account controls provided in HoldTHISandTHAT. Deletion is intended to remove your account and associated user content from active systems, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or billing purposes.
Your choices
You may update certain account information and preferences in User Settings, manage notification permissions through your browser or device, unsubscribe from optional marketing communications, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their credentials and devices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. When changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or other appropriate means. The effective date above identifies the current version.
